oh this is great

Usually I try and keep my journals a place of happy thoughts cause I enjoy stress-free living and having fun and not having to worry, but after what happened to Cyndi and some other deviants, well that is now getting harder and harder.
:iconmentacle: 's journal was a "great" read last Friday as to what is happening within the TF slash community.

Now this morning I got this note here:

"I heard from one of my other friends here on dA that someone has been going around and reporting people who posted TF slash stories(I think) and the people got banned for a few weeks. Just wanted to give you a little head's up. So don't be surprised if you try to go on one day and find that you've been banned for a few weeks."

I was also warned that I may be high risk on this list.

Great.
You'll think there would be justice or a feeling of it when here. I know DA is large with all sorts of art of all sorts which I enjoy 90% of. But a large place like this things will happen without anyone being the wiser on it being posted but still. . .
I think the worst part about this is wondering the worst on this and will it happen?

So what about other fandoms here that do slash? Will they be attacked?

I just love the part that whomever it is can hide without being known that they did it.

Okay to all, anything in my gallery that can be questioned, please note me and what should be done with it. I rather hear it from you in a friendly manner than have it deleted by DA.
Also I'm going thru my gallery for real this time. I don't want to do that. Seriously I don't but I want to cut this person off on this before I get taken off.

I am not about to stop posting slash here. I just have to be careful of what it has in it. I will post what cannot go here on Y! Gallery and Wetpaint.

I have already deleted some artwork to try and make myself less of a target. Here is a list of artwork that is up for question. I'm sure a troll would have fun in my gallery no matter what. I did not want to delete any of my work but if it helps give this person less ammo. . . I do not want to be taken off DA.
Should this be deleted to protect myself?

I agree but I feel like its getting bad enough for me to go thru my own gallery and start questioning if I should delete stuff.

no no no! don't delete anything in you're gallery! you are a great artist and have a right to stand with you're art, if someone was to report my friend for faulsly acusing them for something they like to write and they got banned for a few weeks I would be hunting this guy down and reporting him before he could blink! I enjoy you're artwork very much and I may not be a huge yaoi fan but I still say that any kind of art for it should stay!

Thank you. I already deleted two. Lost everything with them to comments to faves. Just when I see things like this and know I may be blacklisted, I just wonder about things. Its nerve-wracking to say the list.
I'll look thru my gallery but I still don't want to delete. There are a couple of pics I do wonder if they are going to get it due to the sexuality of them like these three

alright if you think you have no other option but deleting thats fine but save ALL of you're pics you deleted first onto a floppy disk or something and when this guy is caught upload them again

Ya know, my life is already going through enough hectic stuff with having to move out and so on - that all this turmoil in the TF Slash circuit being threatened is really starting to get to me. It upsets me that people can't post art/stories without someone crying about it. What ever happened to the 'deviant' in Deviant Art? It's not like the slash work is being shoved down people's throats. They have theoption to use that magical tool called the "back button". It's just like changing the channel. As a precaution, we're thoughtful enough to put up warnings so what's the big deal?

Now this red lambo is all riled up...and that's never a good thing.....

I don't really know what to do. I'm saving the pics before deletion but I hate that I did it along with losing the comments and faves on it.

I'm making sure that a lot of the pics have strict filter on them. That may help.

I agree with you and I hate it. I just wish we could find this person and just ask him. . .or something else to him just to get it to stop. Problem is with people like this is that they can't be reasoned with.

I'm getting tired of it myself. When will it end?

I know, I wish there was a way to reason with this person(s) and ask why they feel like they must go on a crusade like this. I never actually liked the thought of TF slash when I first found it, but instead of throwing a tantrum I looked into it and some of it actually made sense to me and here we are ^^

The other problem is: most of these trolls(or whomever they are) hide behind the keyboard, knowing they can't be touched. They have nothing better to do. Fine, that's how they are and that's how they'll stay. They don't like what we do, they have the right to make their opinion but we have the right to have our opinions too.

Maybe, just maybe, it'll come to an end once this person realizes that there are too many of us. Still, I'm not going to lose any sleep over this, it bothers me yes, and I'm concerned for my DA pals, whether I know them very well or not, but I'm gona stick it out and see what happens.
