Security, friend's article and whatever elseOn Saturday, Bob and I got a security system for our house! There are a lot of burglaries going on around our area. Garage service door being smashed in in broad daylight is what I'm hearing. On Saturday this guy shows up at our house and if we put their sign in our yard to advertise them in our neighborhood they will install and give us their security system for free. We have to pay the monthly service and we paid out of pocket the extras like the key chain remotes. But in all its a good deal. His techs were out in no time and had everything done in a couple of hours. Its all wireless.
Then yesterday my parents who live about 15 minutes away almost got burglarized. They had a pile of junk to get rid of in front of their garage service door and when the theives smashed in the door they made a huge noise which woke my parents that morning. Now they are looking at different security systems.
An old friend of mine Barb aka
sent me a newpaper article of her from her hometown. Part of the new TF2 movie was shot in her hometown in Pennslyvania. She was even lucky enough to see some of the shooting while it was there. The article is very flattering and speaks well of TF fans. I'm not doing a review of the new movie. Mostly due to lack of time and also everyone else has pretty much done it. I will say I enjoyed it but it had a few flaws in it. I was able to talk to one of my coworkers yesterday who has two little sons. She enjoyed it and loved the twins. But she didn't like the language especially since her sons were there.
There was a guy in costume he made of G1 Optimus Prime at the theatre when I went July 24th. It was cool to see him and he had on display the other costumes he made like Iron Man.
I need to announce the con exclusive toy soon for Gamer's Reunion. Its a crossover TF toy with DairyCon. Its extremely limited. I figure it will be raffle and auction for this toy!
As always working on new art. Got one piece done and working on more. RedAlert/Inferno that can't be here. Sorry got a bit too naughty with them. But I got a non-slash seeker pic, Drene and Mage, Blot and Skalor and whatever else I got cooking.

Hope your new security system works. We had to put iron bars on our windows after a couple of break ins, but we think we know who did it. Anyway, why do WE have to live behind bars?
