It’s been busy over the last few months. But then that is my life in short: busy. Always something. I’ll just give you all the bulletin points.
-Bob and I with couple of friends in tow are going to Warmachine Weekend this week. We leave tomorrow morning, be there around 2 pm so we can visit with friend, take in the sights and then enjoy Warmachine Weekend. Warmachine and Hordes is miniature game my husband and I play, and this con is totally dedicated to it. We can earn points to get stuff, win free stuff and who knows what else.
I plan on taking photos on the way down and some other things and sending the photos to our friends’ significant others so they can join in on the fun even if it’s by text.
Up till Sunday evening I was working on miniature for my army, Una who I really been wanting to get done. But always the worst of luck with her. Cats took one of her falcons off her, hid it, found said falcon, had friend put falcon on and then had to really redo. . . I think the mini is cursed! But now she’s ready to go. Not the best work I wanted to put into her but . . . oh well. I’ll just rebuy her later when I have room again on my painting tray.
-Couple of weeks ago I finished my commissions of painting other gamers’ miniature models. Both of my customers were very surprised at how fast I paint and well done they are. Made some nice money off that and it’s going to Warmachine Weekend so we can enjoy it bit more. I’m sure we’re going to be buying some stuff there. My customers are so happy with my work I’ve done for them, they want to commission me some more! That money will go towards Dairycon!
-My father-in-law got his new kidney couple of months ago. He’s doing great. He’s been waiting on that for two years.
-With my commissions done and some other things done, I’ve been working on artwork. I want to post it all at once so you may be getting big art dump next week. Whenever I have time I sneak and color my art.
-Work. ‘Nuff said. Big chunk of my life.
I know there is more stuff than this that has been going on. I just can’t think of them. I suppose I just try and go with what is going on at the moment and keep going. But here is some stuff that I’ve been enjoying on Youtube. I love Youtube. Better than regular cable. . . Enjoy. These are some of my faves right now
