Update to DairyCon

Long story short on DairyCon is that I was sad to see it end Saturday night.  I gave hugs to all at the end of the dinner especially to folks that I just enjoy being around and talking to.  That made me sad. 

This year was the 15th Anniversary of DairyCon.  On Friday night we unthinking celebrated the way it started: bunch of folks meeting in bar and having some drinks.  But I'm getting ahead of myself. 

Bob and I along with couple of friends arrived on Thursday.  Nice to rest after four hours of driving.  I know that doesn't sound like much but trust me you don't want to start your day driving only to have to keep going for the celebrations.  It was nice to grab some supplies, check out Target and Walmart for any new toys and just relax.  

Friday was mostly relaxing day until 4 o'clock came and that was when I had to get down to the ballroom to help set up my dealer table and game night.  My friend Max helped me with game night with the new addition of vidoe games which he brought.  Also early dealer set up.  

After dealers and others left we (jokingly) had our first Lanyard Con which four or five of us (depending on who wanted to help) were seperating the lanyards.  Somehow they got all twisted up and we had tons of fun just pulling them apart.  We talked and giggled over stuff.   Then we went down and all had drink.  No matter how silly we got and all, I can tell you it wasn't the alcohol cause no one had that much.  Iffin bar closed in the lobby hotel. . . But it was fun.  

Saturday was good day.  Meet up with folks I haven't seen since last year.  Bought new toys to come home with me.  Some 3rd party which Bob picked out couple which he likes to be part of.  And I got some odd stuff I never seen or would treat myself too normally.
